Mark Yost

Mark Yost has written for The Wall Street Journal's Leisure and Arts page and Book Review section for more than 20 years and is a contributing columnist for Stay Thirsty Magazine. He is the author of five classic noir-style mysteries in his Rick Crane series: Cooper's Daughter, Jimmy's Nephew, Mary's Fate and Sheila's Turn and Finding Mary. Yost has also written four nonfiction books and two earlier novels. He and his son, George, live in Houston, but call the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, N.Y. "home."
